Nights like this
I wrote this a while ago, and just found it. Funny enough I had no non-platonic interests at this time; either way here a little bit ‘o my writing: Nights like this Make you wonder Why we ever built cities Or ever got jobs that got us up before the sunrise We could lie underneath the stars That aren’t diluted by the city street lights And sleep next to each other till the sunshine woke us up Well I woke up before you did and quietly ran my fingers through your hair You smiled in an unconscious peace That let me know that you agreed you were happy I thought of us in happy ways
